"Bringing unity to the Las Vegas Community"
ASSALAMU ALAIKUM,
Welcome to our Website!! Las Vegas without a doubt is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and Alhamdulillah the Las Vegas Muslim community is growing just as fast. The average Fatima or Ahmed would think it would be impossible to live a healthy Islamic life in the City of Sin but with (MashaAllah) five Masjids including an Islamic Academy the average Ahmed or Fatima would think twice before speaking ill about life in Las Vegas. It is our duty as Muslims to live accordingly to the Quran and the Sunnah of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and Insha’Allah change the infamous slogan from ”Sin City” to “Noor City”. This achievement can only be accomplished by uniting and working together in the cause of Allah. What is UMAC United Muslim American Community is a non-profit organization which consists of members of all ages from the Las Vegas Islamic Community. The purpose of UMAC is to create and establish brotherhood amongst Muslims for the betterment of the Vegas Muslim Community. UMAC is dedicated to serving the Las Vegas Community by hosting and participating in special events and activities. Such special events and activities include fundraisers, clothing drives, food drives, weekly halaqas, and Islamic Youth slumber nights for sisters and brothers at the Masjids, elderly visitations and much more. By the grace of Allah the Las Vegas Muslim Community will outshine the Las Vegas Strip and all its lights. Insha’Allah. Ameen!

"The Prophet Mohammed (PBH) said in his last sermon, “All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; white has no superiority over black, nor does a black have any superiority over white; [none have superiority over another] except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.”
